"Kuba Jakowicz may consider it to be great luck and an honour to have been able to make his first recording of The Four Season with Sinfonia Varsovia. Even if - by some unfortunate twist of fate or technical mishap - this CD lacked the solo part, it would deserve the highest mark. Jakowicz's youthful bravado and sometimes shallow interpretative ideas have not overshadowed his talent, which is gaining more solid foundations each year. Much work is still required to polish this diamond, but already today it is good to be in contact with it. The orchestra, for its part, is all diamonds. Beautifully executed phrasing, a perfect feel for style, a well-balanced and rich sound, great dynamism and interesting ornamentation - these are just some of the assets of this recording. Outstanding! "
