KRZYSZTOF JABŁOŃSKI
He graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice. Later, he further
refined his art. Under the quidance of Rudolf Kerer and Nikita Magaloff
.
He won several major awards at prestigious piano competitions: Milano
(1980 ),Warsaw (1985 ), Palm Beach (1988), Dublin (1988 ), Monza (1988
), Tel Aviv (1989), and Calgary (1992). Among his greatest achivements
are the Third Prize at the XI F. Chopin International Piano Competition
in Warsaw in 1985, and the Third Prize and the Gold Medal at the Sixth
A.Rubinstein Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv in 1989.
Krzysztof Jabłoński commenced concert touring appearing on stages in
Europe, North America, the Middle and Far East with leading orchestras
and with such distinguished conductors as Sergiu Comissiona, Jacek
Kaspszyk, Jerzy Katlewicz, Jan Krenz, Michael Stern, Jesus Lopez Cobos,
Grzegorz Nowak, Krzysztof Penderecki, Michael Stern, Yukinori Tezuka,
and Ronald Zollman. He has performed with prominent chamber music
ensembles including the Deseret String Quartet, Israel Chamber
Orchestra String Quartet and Shanghai Quartet with acclaimed artists
Andrzej Bauer, Ewa Iżykowska, Roman Jabłoński, Stefan Kamasa, Konstanty
Andrzej Kulka and Tomasz Strahl. |

Krzysztof Jabłoński has made many live recordings for radio and
television in Poland and internationally. He has recorded several
compact discs in Poland, Germany, and Japan. He recorded for the first
time Etudes, Preludes, Impromptus Variations on La ci darem from Mozart
Don Giovanni, and Krakowiak- concert rondo based on the National
Edition of F. Chopin`s Works edited by Professor Jan Ekier (award of
Polish Phonographic Academy: Fryderyk 2002 ).
He presents Master Classes and adjudicates at international piano
competitions.
